Pharm Technician

 

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site opportunity.

Pay: $20.00 to $21.00/hour

Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Every other weekend, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

·       Pick, label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for final verification by a pharmacist.

·       Fill daily medication orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.

·       Process returned medications and handle recycling or disposal according to procedures.

·       Prepack frequently ordered medications, apply labels, and store products as needed.

·       Package medications and other materials manually.

·       Pull medications from shelving and designated storage areas.

·       Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy.

·       Notify the pharmacist of any medications or products that do not scan properly.

·       Maintain a clean, organized workstation and replenish supplies.

·       Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.

·       Comply with departmental safety, attendance, and dress code policies.

·       Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Pharmacy Technician:

·       High school diploma or GED.

·       Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy.

·       Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

·       Ability to work at a moderate pace.

·       Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.

·       Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

·       Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
