Patient Care Coordinator - Contract/Temp role
Location: Norwood, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range - $22-$26+/hour - DOE
Key Responsibilities
Provide inbox coverage and administrative support for approximately 25 providers
Process and manage patient forms and correspondence
Prepare and distribute letters as needed
Handle imaging prior authorizations
Coordinate and process appointment reschedules
Sort, distribute, and manage incoming faxes
Maintain accurate documentation and support daily office operations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of administrative or secretarial experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency with general office and administrative functions
Ability to effectively manage a high-volume workload and prioritize tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Previous healthcare or medical office experience
Experience working with Epic EMR/EHR systems
Strong administrative and secretarial background
Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. They should be comfortable supporting multiple providers, managing competing priorities, and using Epic or similar electronic medical record systems. Strong organization, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.
