ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Litigation

  • Assist outside and in-house counsel with commercial litigation including intake, filing, litigation holds, case management, deadline tracking, fact collection, document organization, and discovery

  • Communicate with internal departments and vendors/vendor counsel to support timely resolution of legal claims, demand letters, and pre-litigation inquiries

Litigation Billing and Budget Maintenance

  • Maintain and update case management and billing database (Serengeti or similar platform)

  • Assist counsel with reserve reporting

Compliance Initiatives and Other Projects

  • Support attorneys and paralegals with compliance initiatives and commercial projects

  • Assist with compliance-related research, tracking, and internal procedures

  • Occasional administrative support

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant degree, certificate, or equivalent training and work experience

  • 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department

  • Practical knowledge of civil litigation: civil procedure, discovery, document production, confidentiality, privilege, motion practice

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
