Paint Technician

• Shift: MON-FRI 6:00 am -4:30 pm

• Pay: $20.00 p/h

Responsibilities:  

• Apply powder coating and wet spray paint to manufactured parts according to production specifications.

• Mix paint and prepare coating materials to achieve proper color, consistency, and finish quality.

• Mask and protect designated areas of parts before painting.

• Wash and prepare parts prior to the painting process to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.

• Load and unload parts from the paint line while maintaining production flow.

• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with customer specifications.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures and documentation requirements.

 

Requirements:  

• Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Powder Coater, Spray Painter, or Paint Line Operator preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.

• Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to read work orders, follow written instructions, and complete basic production paperwork.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual quality inspections.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to safely operate painting equipment and tools.

• Must be able to pass a Respirator Fit Test and Spirometry (Respiratory) Test required for work involving paint and coating materials.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
