Paint Process Technician
Put Your Paint Process Experience to Work!
We’re hiring an experienced Paint Process Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing paint operation. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in painted parts production, automated paint systems, robotics, and process troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and maintain paint robots, spray booths, applicators, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot paint process issues, equipment problems, and production defects.
Perform basic maintenance on paint robots, guns, jigs, and applicators.
Inspect paint application processes to ensure quality and conformity.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Minimize downtime and help improve paint line efficiency and OEE.
Monitor and optimize paint usage, including primer, basecoat, clear coat, and solvents.
Follow all required safety procedures, including LOTO and HSE standards.
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of painted parts production experience required.
Experience with industrial paint application equipment and processes.
Knowledge of robotics and automated paint systems.
Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
Ability to support a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
