Packaging Operator

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Packaging Operator opportunity in Northborough, MA. Responsibilities for a Packaging Operator include but are not limited to:

• Set up, operate, change over, and clean automated and manual packaging equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety policies.

• Perform manual packaging on an assembly line and safely handle high-value product vials throughout various stages of packaging.

• Document production activities accurately in batch records, log sheets, and electronic batch record systems while following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Maintain packaging material inventory, use ERP and computer-based systems for data collection and inventory management, and monitor equipment performance.

Candidates for Packaging Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in packaging or an equivalent manufacturing environment, with knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Basic math, communication, and mechanical skills, with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., move heavy objects, and stand for up to 3 hours while performing manual packaging. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with safety procedures.

• Pay: $29.09 per hour

• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional overtime. Start times may be as early as 6:00 AM, with shifts potentially extending until 4:30 PM.

Pay Details: $29.09 per hour
