Position Overview:
As a Cheese Packager, you will be responsible for efficiently packing various sizes and types of cheese into corrugated boxes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and supporting sanitation and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack cheese products accurately and efficiently following established quality standards

  • Adhere diligently to safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe working environment

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support food safety protocols

  • Support sanitation efforts during the third shift to uphold cleanliness standards

  • Assist in meeting production targets, which may include mandatory overtime and weekend shifts during busy periods

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve overall production goals

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs consistently

  • Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment

  • Dependability, punctuality, and effective communication skills

  • Flexibility to work mandatory overtime, including weekends

  • Basic understanding of safety protocols and sanitation procedures

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Monday through Friday, with shift options including:

    • 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

    • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

    • 3rd Shift: 9:15 PM – 5:45 AM (sanitation)

  • Overtime may be required during peak periods, including weekends

Pay Details: $22.56 per hour
