Operations Aministrator
Office, Clerical & Administrative
Adecco is assisting a local client in Thorofare, NJ in their search for an Operations Administrator role. This is a contract to hire, onsite role paying between $22 - $27/Hour. Must have manufacturing administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration & Customer Support (60%)
Perform daily office administrative activities and general clerical support.
Provide timely, accurate, and professional service to both internal and external customers.
Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and customer inquiries.
Prepare customer statements and customer-facing documentation.
Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
Prepare UPS/FedEx shipping labels and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
Support production teams with document organization, labels, and customer-related data.
Assist leadership with administrative projects and operational initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations and customer satisfaction.
Accounts Receivable & Data Management (30%)
Execute daily and month-end Accounts Receivable (AR) processes with a high degree of accuracy.
Prepare, review, and process customer invoices and credit card transactions.
Maintain and update customer master records.
Enter daily production units and other operational data into spreadsheets and databases.
Scan, file, and maintain electronic business records and documentation.
Ensure all financial and operational records are organized, accurate, and current.
Project & Operational Support (10%)
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.
Support the creation, maintenance, and implementation of Administrative Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with site leadership and the Quality Engineer to ensure procedural compliance.
Support cross-functional teams to promote efficient operations and timely communication.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Operations, or a related field preferred.
Required Experience
3–5 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.
3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a manufacturing environment.
3–5 years of operational support experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
