MRI Lead Technologist / Coordinator – Permanent Position
Location: Kansas
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Hours: 80 hours per pay period
Pay: $32.67–$46.13 per hour, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Retention Bonus: $10,000 after 2 years, based on satisfactory performance

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Lead Technologist / Coordinator to join a hospital Imaging Department in Kansas. This full-time leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist who is ready to take on additional responsibility supporting departmental operations, staff development, quality improvement, and MRI-related initiatives.

The Lead MRI Technologist works closely with the Director of Imaging and under the supervision of the Imaging Department Medical Director to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered MRI services.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Director of Imaging to support day-to-day departmental operations
Assist with staff meetings and training initiatives
Support process improvement and quality initiatives
Coordinate MRI-related events and departmental activities
Collaborate with contracted research organizations to support MRI research activities
Help ensure compliance with applicable research, safety, and departmental requirements
Promote high-quality, patient-centered care
Maintain a strong focus on MRI safety, patient comfort, and overall patient experience
Serve as a resource and leader for MRI staff
Maintain accurate records and departmental files
Protect patient confidentiality and sensitive information
Assist with maintaining efficient and effective MRI operations
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or training
Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent
5+ years of MRI experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lead Technologist
Strong knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records
Licensure & Certifications
Current ARRT Radiography registration
Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist license through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
Current CPR/BLS certification
Additional modality-specific registrations may be required depending on assignment
**MRI Safety Officer Certification preferred


Pay Details: $31.67 to $32.67 per hour
