Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA-C / MA-R) for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative healthcare team focused on providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.

Job Details

• Location: Seattle, WA

• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.34 per hour

• Travel Required: No

• Work Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medication reconciliation, and health history

• Accurately document patient information in EPIC

• Manage in-basket tasks, including patient messages, refill requests, and call routing

• Complete documentation and close encounters according to department workflows

• Maintain exam room cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure infection control compliance

• Provide patient education within scope of practice

• Support patient flow by communicating effectively with providers and team members

• Assist with administrative duties, including scanning documents and completing prior authorization paperwork

• Set up and clean procedure rooms

• Assist providers during in-office procedures

Requirements

• Active MA-C or MA-R certification

• Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting

• Experience taking vitals and rooming patients

• Strong documentation and electronic medical records experience

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records

• Strong attendance and reliability

• High level of integrity and accountability

• Experience assisting with procedures and prior authorizations

• Strong patient service skills

Additional Information

• Required Certification: Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R)

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.34 per hour
