Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Medical Assistants for a healthcare facility in San Bernardino, CA to start in October 2026.

This is an on-site opportunity with weekday shifts only.

Pay: $22.00 to $24.34/hour
Type: Contract Assignment (10/19/2026 through 01/15/2027)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Work Location: San Bernardino, CA 92404

Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee and participate in daily clinical patient care.
• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, and medication review.
• Coordinate patient care according to physician direction and company policies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as injections and ear lavage.
• Assist providers with minor surgeries and invasive procedures.
• Maintain clinical logs, including exam room maintenance and temperature logs.
• Submit electronic referrals for specialty services and follow-up care.
• Enroll and respond to electronic patient messages through the patient portal.
• Process medication refills and prior authorizations according to protocol.
• Answer and return patient phone calls.
• Schedule appointments as needed.
• Perform patient registration and check-in, including verification of insurance and demographic information.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Family Practice, Specialty Care, or Internal Medicine.
• Knowledge of HMO, PPO, and Medicare insurance plans.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.34 per hour
