Pay: $19.90–$27.00 per hour, depending on education and experience
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Local candidates preferred

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a healthcare team and provide clinical support under the direct supervision of an Office Nurse or Physician.

The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant should demonstrate excellent patient-care skills, maintain a professional appearance and attitude, remain calm under pressure, and treat all patients with compassion and respect.

Confidentiality and discretion are essential, as this position involves access to sensitive patient, employee, and practice information.

Responsibilities
Perform blood draws, injections, childhood immunizations, laboratory tests, and other clinical procedures within the scope of Medical Assistant certification.
Assist physicians with patient examinations, including obtaining vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Assist patients to and from examination rooms as needed.
Assist physicians and clinical staff with nursing procedures as directed.
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms.
Take and return patient phone calls as directed by the physician.
Provide patients with instructions and information as directed by the physician.
Monitor and request clinical supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
Assist with maintaining accurate medical records and completing referral forms, laboratory slips, and other required documentation.
Provide assistance and support to patients throughout their visit.
Assist with other clinical duties as requested by management or the Clinical Coordinator, while remaining within the scope of Medical Assistant certification.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain flexibility and willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
Qualifications
Required:

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or specialized Medical Assistant training.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting.
Current Medical Assistant certification.
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to remain professional and composed in stressful situations.
