Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant in Mission Hills, CA for an on-site 5-month contract opportunity. This position supports patient care and daily clinical operations by rooming patients, taking vitals, administering injections, performing blood draws, assisting providers, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Job Details

·          Type: Contract – 5 months

·          Location: On-site – Mission Hills, CA

·          Pay Rate: $22 to $24.34 per hour

·          Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Responsibilities

·          Provide patient care and support daily clinical operations

·          Room patients and obtain vital signs

·          Administer injections

·          Perform blood draws

·          Complete accurate patient charting and documentation

·          Manage clinical tasks and follow-up items

·          Assist providers during patient visits

·          Answer phones and assist with patient communication

·          Support patient flow and other clinical duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

·          Medical Assistant certification

·          At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience

·          Computer literate and comfortable working with electronic medical records

·          Strong communication and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

·          EPIC EMR experience

·          Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

·          Previous experience working in a busy healthcare or clinical environment

 

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.34 per hour
