Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) in Everett, WA! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Three-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $22 to $24 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
Patient Care & Clinical Support:
· Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
· Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
· Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during patient visits.
· Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed.
· Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
· Prepare and clean exam rooms while maintaining infection prevention and safety standards.
· Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).
· Answer patient phone calls, respond to messages, and assist with appointment coordination.
· Support daily clinic operations to ensure an efficient patient flow.
· Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established timelines.
· Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care.
· Prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Current Washington State Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) credential required.
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
· Previous Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting preferred.
· Strong communication and multitasking skills.
· Ability to stay organized and complete daily responsibilities before the end of each shift.
