Location: Memphis, TN
Pay Rate: $17.06 - $30.72 per hour
12-Hour Shift Pay Rate: $19.62 - $35.33 per hour

Position Summary
As a Manufacturing Technician I (Mechanical Assembler), you will assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished cooling systems according to detailed work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves the use of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, material handling equipment, and production tracking systems to support daily manufacturing operations.
Essential Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using established work instructions and visual aids.
Read and follow assembly drawings, blueprints, process documents, and specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools, including torque wrenches, screwdrivers, rivet guns, drills, and measuring instruments.
Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining production and quality standards.
Inspect assemblies to verify compliance with engineering and customer requirements.
Use barcode scanners and production systems to track materials, inventory, and work orders.
Complete required production records and documentation accurately.
Assist with material replenishment and inventory control activities.
Safely operate lifting devices and follow established material handling procedures.
Communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, and production challenges to leadership.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and safety guidelines.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and team production goals.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or related experience preferred.
Experience using hand tools and power tools required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to changing production demands.
Must successfully complete mechanical aptitude and mathematical aptitude assessments.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks during 10- to 12-hour shifts.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to safely perform team lifts and operate lifting equipment as required.
