Location: Mebane, NC
Pay Rate: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: On-site, 7:45 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off, continuing on a rotating schedule.
Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the accurate and efficient flow of materials and products throughout manufacturing areas. This position handles material movement, inventory transactions, stock organization, and product issuance in accordance with established company procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all material movement into stock, including dock-to-stock items, material requisition orders, printed circuit boards, and production-floor returns.
Complete inventory and material transactions using scanners and computer systems.
Issue materials from stock, including transfers, kits, manual pulls, and highly marketable parts.
Verify material quantities, locations, and transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Perform cycle counts as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety and health rules and regulations.
Comply with company procedures, policies, and security requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Ability to accurately complete transactions using a scanner or computer.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
