Material Handler

Location: Jackson, MS
Pay Rate: $17.54/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Adecco is currently hiring dependable and hardworking Material Handlers for a short-term project in Jackson, MS. This assignment involves helping decommission a warehouse facility and preparing the site for lease return. Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks

• Perform repeated and consistent heavy lifting throughout the shift

• Move equipment, materials, and warehouse items as needed

• Remove warehouse debris and dispose of materials in onsite dumpsters

• Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and conditions

• Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production

• Enter data into company systems using a PC and RF handheld scanner

• Pull, store, and organize equipment and parts

• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Meet daily productivity and quality standards

• Follow all instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work

• Ability to repeatedly lift heavy items throughout the shift

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions

• Warehouse, inventory, construction, moving, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required

• Team-oriented attitude

Pay Details: $17.54 per hour
