Material Handler

Location: Brookshire, TX

Shift: Weekend Nights 4:00pm-4:30am (Fri/Sat/Sun)

Pay: $21.75

 

Adecco is hiring immediately for Material Handlers with a leading logistics and supply chain client. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Position Summary

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and handling of materials throughout the warehouse. You will support daily operations by loading and unloading products, preparing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility

• Perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products

• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

• Utilize barcode scanners and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and shipments

• Handle materials accurately and efficiently to meet productivity goals

• Follow all safety procedures and work in a manner that protects yourself and your team members

• Assist with general warehouse operations as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Experience operating material handling equipment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience

• Experience using handheld barcode scanners

• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time

• Lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights

• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull throughout the shift

• Use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and materials

• Work in hot or cold warehouse environments as required

Pay Details: $21.75 per hour
