Job Title: Material Handler/ Machine Operator

Position Overview
We are assisting our client, Altium Packaging, in seeking dependable Material Handlers/Machine Operators to join their manufacturing team in Breinigsville.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment and prior machine operation experience are REQUIRED. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working around production machinery, monitoring equipment, identifying production issues, and following established operating and safety procedures.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in a GMP-regulated manufacturing facility offering rotating 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible to work a rotating schedule where the days of the week change, but shift hours remain consistent.
Schedule
1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
2nd Shift: 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Rotating 12-hour shifts
Days of the week rotate
Every other weekend is worked due to the rotation
Every other weekend off — Friday, Saturday & Sunday!
Pay
$19.00/hour – Day Shift
$21.00/hour – Night Shift (includes $2.00 shift premium)
Responsibilities Production / Machine Operation:
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures
Monitor conveyor belts and production lines
Clear bottle jams and minor production line interruptions
Monitor equipment and production processes for abnormalities
Inspect bottles and finished products for defects
Perform quality checks and designated drop tests
Immediately report bottle abnormalities, defects, or quality issues to supervisors
Place discarded bottles into grinders when applicable
Grind bottles according to production requirements
Monitor supplies and replenish packaging materials as needed
Ensure correct labeling, bottle descriptions, and packaging according to customer requirements
Material Handling / Packaging:
Bag and box finished products
Move materials throughout the facility
Move finished goods to designated areas
Load trailers safely and efficiently
Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them into designated bins
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Ensure efficient setup and organization of workstations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Safety & Quality:
Follow GMP guidelines, manufacturing policies, and safety procedures
Wear all required PPE
Maintain a strong focus on product quality and safety
Accurately document inspection results
Maintain punctual and reliable attendance
Work effectively as part of a production team
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
Previous machine operation experience REQUIRED
Previous production and/or manufacturing experience REQUIRED
Experience working around production machinery, conveyor systems, or manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
Ability to monitor equipment and identify production or quality issues
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
Ability to work every other weekend
Ability to stand and work for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift as required for the position
Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment
Steel-toe boots required
Must speak and understand English
Comfortable working in a GMP-regulated facility
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance
Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
