Adecco is hiring for a Master Scheduler in Devens, MA! This is a direct hire position FULLY ON SITE.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: $90,000 - 110,000
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Scheduler to oversee and manage our production scheduling. As Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring alignment with company goals, customer demand, production capacity, and the efficient use of resources. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing and leading the S&OP process for the site as well as responsible for forecasting and ensuring that the correct demand is loaded into the system.
Customer OTD, Forecast Accuracy and Revenue Budget attainment will be your key KPI. The Master Scheduler plays a critical role in production and supply chain management, acting as the central coordinator to ensure that manufacturing operations run efficiently, resources are optimized, and customer demands are met on time. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, analytical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain seamless production flow and support organizational objectives.
What you’ll be doing
Maintains sitewide demand plan/ forecast that will drive the MRP system
Responsible for Reviewing operations production load to ensure they are aligned to the demand plan/ forecast
Leads the Sales & Operations Execution process to ensure alignment between plan and operations capacity constraints, adjusting schedules based on equipment downtime, workforce changes, or new production priorities
Identify and lead opportunities within the business, function and designated category to drive performance in supply, cost, quality, innovation and risk, continuous improvement, lean supply, waste reduction and value add initiatives and report through GEM measures
Maintain measures and data analysis in relation to shortages and late customer orders
Work within the supply chain team to ensure demand changes are communicated to suppliers
Execute materials planning to ensure optimal inventory levels, turns, and obsolescence control
Work closely with planning team and production managers to maintain production plan
Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or equivalent experience
8+ yrs. experience in a process-oriented industry as master scheduler or demand planner with experience in forecasting, preferably in complex manufacturing environments (e.g., high-precision machined parts, electromechanical assemblies, biomedical manufacturing)
Proficient in English and be able to understand written procedures to quickly learn and adapt company policies, procedures, and products offered
Proficient use of computer systems and software applications, with direct experience with demand planning tools, MRP, SAP, etc.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail to maintain high levels of accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the manufacturing environment
Ability to analyze and understand MRP data, stock levels and demand forecasts within an ERP system. Make informed decisions and develop effective production schedules and recovery plans
Ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously requiring excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth operations.
Must have a strong commitment to site excellence and high adaptability to learn new products, services, and systems quickly
Experience with cGMP and cleanroom operations preferred
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
