Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in the precision manufacturing industry in the Greater Boston area to help them hire a Manufacturing Quality Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career or experienced quality professional to join a collaborative team responsible for maintaining ISO-certified quality systems while supporting manufacturing operations, customer quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys working cross-functionally and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues using DMR and CAPA processes.
  • Partner with customers to develop inspection plans and address quality-related concerns.
  • Maintain and improve ISO quality management system documentation.
  • Administer document control and employee training records.
  • Plan and execute production capability studies and equipment qualification activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality documentation requirements.
  • Support production by assisting with inspection activities when needed.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • 0–10 years of manufacturing or quality engineering experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; CNC machining or machine shop experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, including GD&T.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques; experience with Minitab is a plus.
  • Experience with CMM, vision inspection systems, or SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative team player who can work independently and across multiple departments.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
