Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician Days

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $30-$33per hour
Schedule: Monday  - Thursday I 6:30 AM -  5:00 PM

 

Adecco is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team in Mechanic Falls, Maine. This individual will independently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment repairs independently

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications

• Perform tooling changeovers on production equipment while ensuring products meet specifications

• Implement programs to minimize machine downtime and production changeovers

• Use machine shop tools to fabricate parts and complete repairs

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of business goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred

• 2–5 years of industrial machine maintenance experience

• Working knowledge of building electrical systems and industrial equipment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems

• Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems

• Basic machinist experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Must be able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, and work in confined or awkward spaces

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
