| Mammography Technologist Pay Range: $35.00–$55.00 per hour, based on years of experience Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Oregon Relocation Assistance: Available Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mammography Technologist to perform a variety of mammography examinations and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. The Mammography Technologist applies established principles, theories, and techniques of mammography imaging to produce accurate and reliable diagnostic images while providing compassionate, professional patient care. This is a union position, and the hourly rate is determined by years of experience in accordance with the applicable union pay scale. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of mammography examinations according to established protocols and standards. Apply appropriate mammography imaging techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain mammography equipment and related imaging technology. Follow established radiation safety and patient protection procedures. Verify patient information and examination orders prior to procedures. Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout the examination process. Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Use computer systems and applicable software programs required for the position. Operate office and clinical equipment as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, coworkers, and other departments. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Follow all applicable organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Mammography. Current Oregon state license. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of previous Mammography experience. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, coworkers, and other departments. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field — Highly Preferred. Experience performing stereotactic breast biopsies — Preferred. Current Image Wisely pledge certificate, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter. Current Image Gently pledge certificate, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
