Maintenance Technician

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Sikeston, MO area, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to help maintain reliable equipment performance and minimize production downtime.
Key Responsibilities include:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and material handling equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and modify mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment.
Diagnose equipment issues and determine the most effective repair or improvement.
Install, modify, and commission machinery and equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, motors, drives, and related controls.
Maintain electrical/electronic systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, and other production machinery.
Assist with maintaining an inventory of critical maintenance parts.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
2+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical, mechatronics, or related
Industrial maintenance, electrical, mechatronics, or related education/certification preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical problem-solving skills.
Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus
AC/DC drives
Industrial automation
PLCs
CNC equipment/programming
Motors and motor controls
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Instrumentation
Conveyors
Power distribution
Welding
