We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Ontario, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and nationally recognized company.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician I will perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on mobile site machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain fluid levels in equipment

• Check and adjust tire air pressure

• Change engine, transmission, and hydraulic oils and filters

• Change and repair tires as needed

• Replace lights and perform minor equipment repairs

• Grease and lubricate machinery and equipment

• Clean equipment using compressed air and power washers

• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Maintain accurate maintenance practices and support team productivity

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Minimum 1 year of machinery servicing, maintenance, repair, or related experience

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and safely

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting

• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds with assistance when required

• Ability to work around moving machinery and mechanical equipment

• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments

Work Environment

• Exposure to dust, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical equipment

• Must be able to withstand fertilizer and soil product odors

• Required to wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other required safety gear
