Job Title: Maintenance Technician II (Skilled)
Pay Rate: DOE (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Varies (Overtime as needed)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors
Perform maintenance and repairs on:
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Gas/electric water heaters and furnaces
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment
Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Repair and maintain facility structures and resident accommodations
Operate machine tools (lathe, drill, grinder, milling machines)
Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely manner
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Report safety hazards and incidents immediately
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
Plumbing
Electrical
Carpentry
Welding/metal fabrication
Boiler, hydraulic, or HVAC systems
Associate’s degree OR 6 months–1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination)
Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively
Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios)
Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements
Frequently walking, handling tools, and communicating
Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing
Lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 65 lbs with assistance
Ability to work in various environments including outdoors
Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions
Occasional exposure to chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration
Moderate noise levels

Pay Details: $29.00 to $40.00 per hour
