Machine Operator – Non-Computerized

Location: Liverpool, NY
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 1st

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality products.

No previous machine operating experience? No problem! Previous experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.

What You'll Do:

  • Set up and operate manufacturing equipment and die-cutting presses according to specifications and work instructions.

  • Read job cards, blueprints, and production specifications to ensure proper machine setup.

  • Adjust machine controls as needed to maintain quality and production standards.

  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects and make adjustments when necessary.

  • Use a tape measure and basic math, including decimals, fractions, and standard/metric measurements.

  • Meet production goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

  • Assist with material setup, gluing, material handling, packing, and other production tasks as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements, including proper use of PPE.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and support continuous improvement efforts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Basic math skills and the ability to work with measurements.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

  • Valid NY driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

This is an active manufacturing position. Candidates must be comfortable:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods on a concrete production floor.

  • Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, and stretching.

  • Regularly lifting and handling materials up to 25 lbs.

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs. independently; assistance is required for items over 50 lbs.

  • Working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise, dust, varying temperatures, and required PPE.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
