Welder
Location: South Fort Worth, TX 76140
Pay Rate: $22–$27 per hour, based on experience.

Shift

2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Welder with fitting experience to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components. This role involves a high volume of custom orders, requiring strong layout, fitting, and welding skills to complete work according to welding diagrams and work orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Read layouts, welding diagrams, and work orders for custom fabrication projects.
• Measure, lay out, align, fit, and tack-weld components to meet custom order specifications.
• Set up equipment and perform arc and gas welding, brazing, and cutting as required.
• Inspect welds, finish surfaces, and repair metal components to meet specifications.
• Work with fitters on assembly and maintain clean work areas, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Certified Welder credential.
• 2-5 Years’ experience
• Fitting experience required, including layout, alignment, and fit-up of metal components for custom orders.
• Hands-on welding and fabrication experience; proficiency with thermal cutting equipment, power tools, and jigs.
• Ability to follow written instructions and perform measurements and basic math using fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and flexibility with changing production needs.

Pay Details: $18.25 to $20.00 per hour
