Our client is a European based food company with plants in the US.  Due to growth, seeking a Logistics Manager to join the Supply Chain Department.  Primary duties include: 

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across multiple locations, including inbound/outbound shipments, frozen product distribution, routing optimization, and issue resolution.
  • Manage international imports from Europe to the U.S., ensuring smooth coordination with partners, customs compliance, and efficient integration into the supply chain.
  • Lead carrier and 3PL relationships, negotiating rates, setting performance standards (KPIs/SLAs), and resolving service issues.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination and cost control, aligning logistics with production and demand while analyzing data to reduce freight spend and improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance, quality, and continuous improvement, maintaining regulatory standards, cold chain integrity, safety practices, and optimizing processes and systems.
Position reports to Supply Chain Director.

Ideal candidate for Logistics Manager will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related
  • 5+ years experience in logistics in a food production/distribution environments
  • Experience with 3PL and international shipping
  • Experience with WMS and proficient with MS Excel
Salary up to $120k/yr (based on experience).  Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.
 

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
