Pay: $19.40/hr
Shift/Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00am - 4:00pm
Position Overview:
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and outsourced process coordination. This role works closely with the Logistics Supervisor to ensure the accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving
Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
Verify shipment contents against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
Receive, inspect, unload, and unpack incoming materials for accuracy and condition.
Report and resolve shipping discrepancies, damage, or shortages in a timely manner.
Coordinate the proper storage and warehousing of received inventory.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
Perform inventory transactions and support cycle count activities.
Maintain accurate inventory records within logistics and ERP systems.
Coordinate transactions and documentation related to outsourced processing activities.
Collaborate with internal departments, external suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to resolve shipping and inventory issues.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns.
Maintain clear communication regarding shipment status, inventory availability, and logistics-related issues.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience as a Logistics Clerk, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Clerk, or similar logistics-related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with logistics, inventory, or ERP software (Oracle experience preferred).
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Ability to operate, or learn to operate, a forklift.
Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and outsourced process documentation.
Pay Details: $19.40 per hour
