Line Cook

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hour

What You'll Do

As a Line Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional meals while helping maintain a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and supplies.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.

• Clean, cut, and portion ingredients for meal preparation.

• Assist in preparing appetizers, entrées, desserts, and other menu offerings.

• Plate and present food according to chef specifications.

• Collaborate with servers and kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate orders.

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and kitchen organization.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience preparing ingredients, cutting meat, chopping vegetables, mixing sauces, and portioning dishes.

• Understanding of proper operation and care of kitchen equipment and utensils.

• Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of cooking or line cook experience.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a busy kitchen environment.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
