LASER CNC OPERATOR
Pay: $24.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Laser CNC Operator to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment within the fabrication department while ensuring all completed parts meet established quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, laser-cutting equipment, and turret presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and production instructions.
- Perform first-piece inspections and verify parts meet required specifications.
- Deburr completed parts as needed.
- Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Monitor production quality and stop production when quality standards are not being met.
- Learn and support all areas of the fabrication department.
- Assist in other production areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC mills, laser cutters, or turret presses strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming.
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Basic mechanical and equipment-troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experienced-Level Qualifications
Candidates considered at the higher end of the pay range should possess:
- Three to five years of relevant CNC equipment experience.
- Ability to independently set up and operate multiple CNC machines.
- Advanced equipment-troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to program CNC machinery.
- Experience training other operators on machine setup and operation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform the physical duties required in a manufacturing environment.
Pay will be determined based on the candidate’s CNC experience, programming capabilities, and ability to independently set up and operate equipment.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour
