Inspector Packer II – Night Shift
Location: Flat Rock, NC
Pay: $20.00/hour
Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Night Shift
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspector Packer II to join a fast-paced plastics manufacturing team in Flat Rock, NC. This position is responsible for inspecting finished plastic parts for quality, packing completed products for shipment, labeling containers, and maintaining an organized production area.
This is a 12-hour overnight position working from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM on a rotating schedule.
What You'll Do
Inspect plastic parts for defects and quality concerns
Pack finished products into boxes, bags, or trays
Weigh, label, seal, and prepare products for shipment
Record production and quality information
Stack completed boxes on pallets
Operate molding equipment as needed
Perform trimming, reaming, facing, and other secondary operations
Sort and rework non-conforming products
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with training employees as needed
Follow all safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
Manufacturing, packing, or inspection experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Good color perception and manual dexterity
Ability to stand and walk throughout a 12-hour shift
Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills
Microsoft Office or SAP experience is a plus
PPE Requirements
Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes are required in designated manufacturing and warehouse areas.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
