Inspection and Packaging Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions

Perform singulation processes using tools such as saws, routers, punches, or manual methods
-
Inspect parts during and after singulation for defects, damage, or dimensional non-conformance
-
Follow work instructions, travelers, and customer specifications for packaging requirements
-
Package finished parts using appropriate materials (trays, reels, vacuum seal, ESD-safe packaging, etc.)

Label, barcode, and document completed work orders accurately
-
Handle delicate and precision components to prevent contamination, scratches, or breakage
-
Perform in-process quality checks and escalate issues to Quality or Engineering as needed
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with 5S standards
-
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of PPE
-
Assist with inventory control of packaging materials and finished goods
-
Support cross-functional teams with rework, sorting, and special packaging requests
-
Meet daily production targets and support on-time delivery goals
Work Experience & Skills
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
-
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or assembly environment preferred
Skills / Knowledge:
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle small, delicate components
-
Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and travelers
-
Basic knowledge of quality inspection practices
-
Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures preferred
-
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
-
Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Work performed in a manufacturing floor or controlled environment (may include cleanroom conditions)

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed

Fine motor skills required for handling small components and packaging materials
-
Good vision (with or without correction) for detailed inspection work
-
Exposure to production equipment and packaging materials
-
Use of PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, ESD protection as applicable)

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
