General Labor Associate

Our client in Woodridge, IL is seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor Associates to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting daily warehouse and shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep the shop or warehouse area, tools, and equipment neat, clean, organized, and in good working condition.

• Clean and maintain work areas at the end of each shift.

• Ensure the security and proper care of company equipment and tools at all times.

• Report any equipment issues, damage, or concerns to leadership immediately.

• Assist with a variety of general housekeeping and support tasks, including:

  • Cleaning and organizing workspaces

  • Dusting and detailing equipment

  • Picking up supplies and materials

  • Painting and facility upkeep

  • Transporting company mail

  • Providing coverage for absent employees when needed

• Follow all environmental regulations and procedures for disposing of chemicals, waste, and recyclable materials.

• Report any environmental concerns or hazards to management promptly.

• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Understand and comply with all quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanliness.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay Details: $17.25 per hour
