Forklift Operator
Warehouse
A food and beverage distributor in Perryville is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to help keep products moving from receiving docks to storage locations and outbound shipments.
The success of that operation depends on forklift operators who can safely and efficiently move inventory, maintain organization throughout the warehouse, and ensure orders are ready when customers need them.
What You'll Do
Operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets throughout the warehouse and distribution facility
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers safely and efficiently
Transport coffee, tea, and other beverage products between receiving, storage, and shipping areas
Put away inventory in designated rack locations and retrieve products for customer orders
Verify pallet counts and product labels to help maintain inventory accuracy
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any operational concerns
Keep aisles, staging areas, and dock locations organized and clear
Support shipping schedules by ensuring products are moved where they need to be, when they need to be there
What Success Looks Like
Trucks are loaded and unloaded accurately without delays
Inventory is stored in the correct locations and easy to locate
Customer orders leave the facility complete and on schedule
Safety procedures are followed consistently while operating equipment
The warehouse remains organized, efficient, and ready for daily operations
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift
Ability to work safely around warehouse traffic, product inventory, and loading docks
Comfortable lifting, moving, and handling warehouse materials as needed
Strong attention to detail when transporting and staging products
Reliable attendance and a consistent work ethic
Ability to follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
