Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring for mulitiple opportunities for Forklift Operators in the Edwardsville, KS area. The Forklift Operator is primarily responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to safely load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This position also performs material handling duties to support inventory accuracy, production flow, and overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, pallets, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and inventory accuracy.
- Stage, transport, and deliver materials to designated warehouse and production locations.
- Assist with material handling, order picking, and inventory movement as needed.
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Identify and report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or operational issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, warehouse policies, and operational priorities.
- Complete required inventory, shipping, and end-of-shift reporting.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience.
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Pay Details: $18.25 per hour
