Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Forklift Packaging Operator in East Durham, NY. Responsibilities for a Forklift Packaging Operator include but are not limited to:

• Operate fully automated toothpaste packaging lines running at high production volumes.

• Handle packaging materials, finished goods, labels, pallets, cartons, and shipping materials.

• Perform frequent quality inspections and accurately document results.

• Conduct inventory counts of packaging materials and finished products.

• Perform SAP transactions to manage materials from receipt through finished product.

• Document batch activity using computerized systems.

• Assist maintenance technicians with preventative maintenance activities.

• Perform autonomous maintenance tasks to keep equipment operating at peak performance.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and support waste reduction initiatives.

 

Candidates for Forklift Packaging Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Manufacturing or production experience.

• Experience with machine operation, changeovers, and preventative maintenance.

• Forklift or pallet jack experience.

• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.

 

What's in this Forklift Packaging Operator position for you?

Pay: $26.95/hr (includes shift differential)

Shift & Schedule: Night Shift; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation schedule)
Every other weekend off

Pay Details: $26.95 per hour
