Adecco is hiring a Multidirectional Forklift Operator for a leading steel fabrication company in Rhome, TX. This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who is comfortable handling long, oversized steel materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating multidirectional, side-loader, or 4-directional forklifts and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate multidirectional and side-loader forklifts to move steel products and fabricated materials
• Transport long and oversized loads through narrow aisles and tight spaces
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials for production and shipping
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Assist with inventory control, order picking, and material tracking
• Utilize barcode scanners and inventory systems to maintain accurate records
• Follow OSHA regulations and established safety procedures
• Work closely with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to support material flow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of experience operating multidirectional, side-loader, or 4-directional forklifts
• Forklift certification required
• Experience handling long steel, beams, pipe, lumber, or other oversized materials preferred
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, physical, hearing test, and vision test
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
