Fabrication Welder

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Fabrication Welder positions in Aurora, IL. • Shift:   1st shift (6 am - 2:30 pm)

• Weekly paycheck 

• Pay:  $34.50 - 38.00 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:  

• Fit, setup, operate, inspect and troubleshoot all tools and equipment
  necessary to execute standard work proficient with MIG, STICK, TIG and
  FLUX core welding

• Ability execute all standard work with a high degree of efficiency and able
  to train others to improve their efficiency. Able to assess and resolve simple problems in execution of standard work with suggestions on improvement involved in A3 process 

• Follow current Standard Work with excellence, including accountability for
  quality of work performed. Identify all out-of-standard and nonconforming conditions; alert Team Lead and/or Supervisor for remediation.

• Understand and identify sources of waste in the workflow and work with Team Lead / Supervisor to eliminate.

• Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure). Must be able to use various hand tools (wire strippers, pliers, wrenches, etc.)
  
  

 Requirements:  

• 5-7 years’ experience in Fabrication Welding

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.

• Able to use hand tools and measuring equipment

Pay Details: $34.50 to $38.00 per hour
