Wood Finishing Specialist

Are you skilled in wood finishing, spray painting, furniture finishing, cabinet finishing, or industrial coatings? We're looking for a Wood Finishing Specialist to join our 1st Shift manufacturing team in Hildebran, NC.
In this role, you'll use spray equipment, sanding tools, and finishing techniques to transform raw and unfinished materials into high-quality finished products. If you have a strong eye for detail and take pride in quality craftsmanship, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Read blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production routings to understand product specifications.
Apply glue, spray adhesive, stains, toners, dyes, polyurethane, and other finishing materials using spray equipment.
Sand, tack, and prepare surfaces between finish applications.
Operate spray guns, air sanders, and other finishing equipment.
Inspect finished products for quality and appearance.
Identify defects and perform touch-ups and corrections as needed.
Clean and perform basic maintenance on finishing equipment.
Follow quality, safety, and lean manufacturing standards.
Work with your team to meet daily production and quality goals.
Cross-train in other areas of production as needed.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in wood finishing, furniture finishing, cabinet finishing, spray painting, industrial painting, coatings, or woodworking manufacturing.
Experience operating spray guns, air sanders, or similar finishing equipment.
Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and production documents.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to safely work with paints, stains, coatings, adhesives, and related materials.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
