EPIC Billing Queue Management Technician

Adecco Healthcare is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire an EPIC Billing Queue Management Technician for a 13-week assignment in Roseville, California. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare revenue cycle professionals with hands-on Epic Resolute billing experience.
Position Details
Location: Roseville, CA (100% On-Site)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $35-$37+/hour DOE
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage Epic Pharmacy Med Charge HB work queues daily.
Resolve claim edits, charge reviews, charge router issues, denials, follow-ups, and credits within established turnaround times.
Analyze accounts and correct patient, guarantor, coverage, and charge-level information as needed.
Ensure claims comply with payer, state, and federal billing requirements before release.
Prioritize workloads based on timely filing limits, aging accounts, dollar value, and department priorities.
Identify and escalate recurring billing issues and system trends.
Collaborate with coding, registration, clinical teams, IT, and Epic analysts to resolve complex accounts.
Accurately document account activity within Epic.
Recommend workflow and work queue improvements to increase efficiency and reduce account touches.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required.
Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Minimum one year of hands-on experience working Epic Resolute billing work queues (HB, PB, or both).
Strong knowledge of:
UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms
CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and revenue codes
Experience with:
Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing
Clearinghouse platforms such as SSI
Payer portals including Availity, Waystar, and Experian
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting work queue build, routing rules, or workflow redesign initiatives.
Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification, Proficiency, or Credentialed Training.
State Pharmacy Technician License.
Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), or comparable certification.
Pharmacy Technician Board Certification.
Advanced certifications such as CHRI, CRCR, or 340B ACE.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
