Engineer

Adecco is hiring a Engineer in Stoughton MA! This is an opportunity to join a growing team!

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday

Pay: $100,000 – $125,000/year depending on experience

Location: Stoughton, MA

Job Duties:

· Lead mechanical design and development of new medical and rehabilitation products

· Create SolidWorks designs and 3D models

· Develop prototypes and perform hands-on troubleshooting

· Design and work with mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies

· Design test fixtures and engineering test methods

· Perform life-cycle, performance, thermal, and validation testing

· Identify and implement design improvements to existing products

· Conduct root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions

· Support manufacturing transfer and design-for-manufacturing activities

· Work directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers

· Develop and maintain engineering documentation within an ISO 13485 environment

· Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, service, suppliers, and outside testing partners

· Take ownership of projects from initial concept through production and customer delivery

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

· 5+ years of experience designing and commercializing physical products

· Highly proficient in SolidWorks

· Experience taking products from design through prototype and production

· Strong hands-on problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions

· Comfortable working directly with manufacturing teams and suppliers

· Medical device experience is a plus

· Experience with servo systems, force measurement, load cells, biomechanics instrumentation, ECAD/Altium, contract manufacturers, or ISO 13485 is a plus

· Strong communication and collaboration skills
