Electro-Mechanical Technician A

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Direct Hire Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for 2^nd shift, in LeRoy NY.


Responsibilities:

• Advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and modification of complex industrial electro-mechanical systems.
• Diagnose/repair machinery, motor control centers, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, power distribution equipment, and automated production systems.
• Analyze cause of failures and implement corrective actions + preventative maintenance as required
• Interpret PLC ladder logic, troubleshoot I/O systems, replace and configure drives and control components, and perform advanced electrical testing using various diagnostic tools.
• Lead major repairs, equipment installations, and system upgrades

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical degree, journeyman certification, or equivalent industrial electrical training preferred.
  • 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience in plant environment
• Must be able to read and interpret advanced electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Strong mathematical skills required including algebra, formulas, and electrical calculations.

Pay Details: $36.24 per hour
