Our client has a large storage / processing facility in southern NJ. Due to rapid growth, seeking an Electro-mechanic (level III) to join the maintenance staff. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Serve as senior technical expert and to train and mentor junior technicians.

  • Subject matter expert regarding PLC’s / automation, electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair

  • Assist with maintenance planning and budgeting

Position reports to Production Manager

Ideal candidates for Electro-mechanic III will possess the following:

  • Associates degree in electro-technology or similar or certified Electricians. Military veterans with technical ratings/MOS are highly encouraged to apply.

  • 7+ years experience in food production or high-volume processing environments

  • Experience with PLC’s (Allen-Bradley) to include programming

  • Experience with HVAC’s

  • Understanding of LEAN (5S) principles, OSHA and GMP

Production working hours 6:30am-6:30pm, 7 days week (depending on season)

Salary around $70/hr (depending on experience). Must be able to be on call 7 days/week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.



Pay Details: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour
