Director of Integrations & Strategic Projects

The Director of Integrations & Strategic Projects leads post-acquisition integration and high-impact strategic initiatives across the business. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and IT) to ensure disciplined execution, alignment, and measurable value creation. Success requires strong business judgment, financial acumen, and the ability to influence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end acquisition integrations, from pre-close planning through synergy realization
  • Develop and continuously improve the Integration Playbook, tools, and best practices
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Maintain KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting

Value Creation & Synergies

  • Identify, quantify, and deliver operational, commercial, and back-office synergies
  • Track financial impact and hold teams accountable to targets
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate reporting and validation

Culture & Change Management

  • Drive communication and change management during integrations and major initiatives
  • Support cultural alignment, organizational design, and talent integration
  • Establish governance to ensure effective operations during transition

Strategic Projects

  • Lead priority initiatives including operational improvements, growth programs, and transformations
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with structured problem solving and execution discipline
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • 7–15+ years of experience in M&A integration, strategic programs, consulting, or corporate development
  • Proven track record leading acquisition integrations and cross-functional initiatives

Preferred Experience

  • Industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or multi-site operations
  • Operations or commercial leadership roles
  • ERP systems and complex manufacturing environments

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: ~25–40% depending on business needs

 



 

 




 

Pay Details: $200,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year
