Adecco is seeking a Dimensional Analyst Technician for an opening with our client in Dearborn, MI.

Position is 1st shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Mon - Fri, plus OT and weekends as required
As a Dimensional Analyst Technician, you will perform and maintain component dimensional analysis equipment and measurements.

As a Dimensional Analyst Technician, you will perform and maintain component dimensional analysis equipment and measurements.
Responsibilities:
- Measure hard points and 3D laser scan data for individual components and complete vehicles using CMM arm
- Assist and lead team and customer meetings
- Support supervisor and team members with report status
- Interpret technical dimensional documents
- Troubleshoot and solve issues related to CMM software and hardware
- Set up and tear down components and vehicles on dimensional surface plates
- Perform regularly scheduled calibration checks and maintenance of CMM equipment
- Prepare technical dimensional analysis results
Requirements of position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of CMM, CAD or related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and very detailed oriented
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) – ability to pass assessment if needed
- Strong automotive components knowledge
- Excellent ability to navigate and understand CATIA, Teamcenter, and PolyWorks software
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
