Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30/3:30 PM
Job Summary
The Day Treatment Qualified Professional is responsible for leading group sessions and providing direct support to K–12 students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This role focuses on facilitation, case management, and coordination of care to support student success in school and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and interventions for students
Develop and implement Person-Centered Plans (PCPs)
Conduct assessments and monitor client progress
Provide case management, referrals, and family support
Manage crisis plans and assist with de-escalation when needed
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Medicaid guidelines
Collaborate with clinical staff, schools, and community providers
Report incidents and ensure confidentiality standards are met
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents in mental health
Must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) standards
Strong facilitation and group leadership experience (K–12 preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of MH/DD/SAS systems and state service definitions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
