Customer Service Specialist

Location: San Mateo, CA
Pay Rate: $25 to $27 an hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support customers throughout the order process, from inquiry to delivery. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and works closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Production, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders accurately from entry through delivery.

• Serve as a primary customer contact, providing timely and professional communication.

• Coordinate with internal teams to support customer needs and order fulfillment.

• Assist with service-related requests, including repairs, calibrations, and follow-up communication.

• Maintain accurate customer and order records in company systems.

• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, order management, or order processing experience.

• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and D365 preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and navigating changing priorities.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Fluent in English.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
