Pay Range: $26.82–$35.37 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Location: New Hampshire
Patient Population: Newborn through geriatric
Dress Code: Personal scrubs, any color
Schedule: On-call and weekend requirements to be determined

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Under the guidance of the CT Clinical Supervisor, the CT Technologist performs CT and X-ray examinations while applying appropriate technical knowledge, safety standards, and patient-care practices to produce consistent, high-quality diagnostic images.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, interacting professionally with patients and physicians, and collaborating with staff throughout the organization. This position serves patients across the full age spectrum, from newborns through geriatric patients.

Compensation
Pay is based on relevant experience:

0–2 years: $26.82–$27.27 per hour
3–10 years: $27.72–$30.87 per hour
11–20 years: $31.32–$35.37 per hour
Overall pay range: $26.82–$35.37 per hour

Actual compensation will be determined based on applicable experience, qualifications, certifications, and organizational pay practices.

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
Produce consistent, high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.
Properly position and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
Explain procedures clearly to patients and respond appropriately to questions or concerns.
Provide appropriate care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations.
Follow radiation safety practices and established imaging protocols.
Evaluate images for technical quality and obtain additional images when necessary.
Recognize and respond appropriately to patient conditions and emergency situations.
Perform IV-related procedures as required for contrast-enhanced examinations.
Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a cooperative and professional relationship with interdepartmental personnel.
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of applicable CT, X-ray, radiation safety, and patient-care standards.
Work independently and demonstrate sound clinical and technical judgment.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable policies and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of current Imaging/CT/X-ray experience.
Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography: ARRT(CT)(R).
Current New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license.
Current BLS certification.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to quickly adapt to the department and begin performing responsibilities effectively.
IV skills and experience with contrast administration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care and high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Experience with:
Siemens imaging systems
Meditech
Philips equipment
AGFA DR
OEC C-arm
Previous experience working with a diverse patient population.
Experience in a hospital or acute-care setting.
Equipment & Technology
The department utilizes a variety of diagnostic imaging technologies, including:

CT: Siemens SOMATOM 40-slice scanner
X-ray: Carestream
C-arm: OEC
EMR: HMS Medhost
Experience with additional imaging systems and technology is highly valued.

Work Environment
The CT Technologist works in a patient-focused clinical environment and must be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and patient safety.

The role requires the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
